We often pray for negative circumstances to give away or be removed, but what we often do not realize is the fire of negative circumstances produces gold in life like no other.

It is not the circumstances in life that get us off track — it is our reaction to it.

God never promised we would have a grand old time every day in this journey we call life. However, God promises He will never leave us or forsake us. He wants us to understand the rain does not stay always, and weeping does not endure for a night. He does not promise fairness; He promises justice. We cannot expect things will be even across the board, but you can expect God will strengthen you every step of the way.

You are built to last through the storm. With every storm, you are getting stronger and wiser.

Reflective Question: When weathering a storm, find a peaceful place and ask God, “What is my lesson in this; what are you showing me?”

Reflective Scripture: Isaiah 43:2
