When I lived in Arizona, I traveled back and forth to New Jersey quite frequently for business, averaging a week a month in some cases. To travel from one coast to another in a day across a few time zones can be a bit daunting and tiring. The flights were often tumultuous, but one night, there was a snowstorm. I remembering praying because I knew if that flight did not take off, I would be stuck in New Jersey one more day. The flight was so rocky, there were moments of dropping and rising. I was so afraid. I was on the window seat and had hidden my face with my coat to avoid anyone seeing me cry. I was crying hard. I prayed quietly and told God that I was scared. He said, “Daughter, look out of the window.” I reluctantly looked out of the window and saw a white angel covering the plane.

God spoke again and said, “No matter where you are, I got you.” In that moment, I received the peace that surpasses all understanding as well as the understanding that miracles, signs, and wonders are for us.

God desires to calm all of our fears if we surrender them to Him. He is our strength.

Reflection Question: Do you believe you have experienced a miracle? Write about it and tell someone about it to increase his or her faith as well.
