Hey Everyone! Time is flying by…it is unbelievable that half of the year has passed by so quickly. Here are my book completions for the month.

The Stone Sky by N.K. Jemisin. The Stone Sky novel is the third and final book of The Broken Earth series. Any remaining questions that a reader may have had are addressed in this book. I loved hearing the perspectives and progressions of Essun, Nassun, Shaffa, and Hoa. I am an avid book reader- a bibliophile- and this is hands down the best conclusion to a series that I have ever read. The book series addresses the ebbs and flows of motherhood and parenthood in a sci-fi fantasy story very well. Very real and relatable, especially when considering the world as a whole. I imagine that my ancestors had some of the same challenges that are presented in this book. Some of my favorite quotes from the book:

”In absence of all else, people run on hope.”

“I think that if you love someone, you don’t get to choose how they love you back.”

This is an excellent book trilogy and I love the writing style of N.K. Jemisin. I read this book via Audible Booktrack. The sounds accompanying the story places…
